![]() After pickleball, Mei-O and I played some ping pong for a while. When we were walking around the ship earlier, we noticed tonight's formal dinner menu looked pretty good, so, when dinnertime finally came around, ... |
![]() ...we headed to the Estrella Dining Room for another formal dinner. Mei-O started with Pickled Red Beets with Feta Cheese and pine nuts vinaigrette, while I had a Caesar Salad. And we shared a bowl of Nordic Shellfish Bisque with white fish, shrimp, black mussels, and lobster cream with cognac. For our entrées, Mei-O had the Pan-Seared Barramundi with leeks, green asparagus, potato batons, and grain mustard sauce, while I had the Roasted Rosemary Leg of Lamb with string beans, provencale tomato, chateau potatoes, and mint sauce. And for dessert, Mei-O had a piece of cheesecakenote separate from the main menu, and I forgot to take a picture of it, so I don't know the names of these desserts. |
![]() After dinner, we found time for some more ping pong. The ship was surprisingly steady and the table level enough to be able to play a good game (0:12). Steve and Teresa played a bit too. |
![]() We got to the Princess Theater early tonight to see Phillip Brown, a singer who put on a really great show backed by the amazing Princess band, coming down into the audience to really engage the crowd. He had a deep bass voice and used it effectively to sing a variety of songs, putting on a very pleasing show. These show pictures were the last pictures I took tonight. Tomorrow morning, we'd cruise up the Sognefjord fjord on our way to dock in Skjolden, Norway, arriving about 7:00 AM. Next Top |
