![]() As we got closer to the city, we noticed an odd-looking building atop a hill. It turned out to be a lookout up on Mt. Aksla, and, according to many on the ship who had been here before, the views from there were definitely worth the climb, which was supposed to be easy. Once again, I had to make the decision as to whether I could make the climb or not. But knowing myself, I supposed I would. |

![]() So as we slowly approached the dock, I took some more pictures, getting closer and closer, right up until we arrived at the pier (that's it in the lower left corner) and docked. |

![]() Today is our 56th wedding anniversary, so we decided we needed to get a meaningful photo to remember it. Ålesund and Mt. Aksla in the background would serve the purpose. |

![]() After returning to the ship and relaxing for a while (a well-needed rest), our next priority was to get some food into us. I went out to the Salty Dog Grill across the pool deck from the World Fresh Marketplace buffet to get one of their pretty good cheeseburgers for lunch. That should hold me until our dinner later tonight after the early Showtime show. Next Top |
