![]() Around 5:00, we were sailing on a very hazy sea, getting close to Southampton. |
![]() We were all packed and ready to go, so with plans to disembark around 7:30, we went up to the empty World Fresh Marketplace buffet for our last breakfast, our last meal, on the ship. I'm gonna miss having baked beans and smoked fish for breakfast. I know we could get them back home, but we probably won't. |
![]() By 6:15, we were pulling started to get a good view of the city, the "Gateway to the World," as we neared the dock. Here's a painstakingly long video (2:42) of the ship very slowly and very carefully docking. |

![]() ...we were on our way to London's Heathrow Airport in a private car Teresa had arranged for us, passing the Windsor Castle and Legoland exit on the way. By 9:00, after a smooth and uneventful ride, we were getting close. And then closer. Then through this tunnel, finally, ... |
![]() ...around 9:15, pulling into Heathrow's Terminal 3 with plenty of time to check in and get through security to catch our 12:45 flight to Boston. |
