| Here are a bunch of pictures of our Canadian friends, Alay and Alfred (who we have traveled with before, and who we visited several times at their home in Toronto), and Maria and Grace, friends of Alay and Alfred, all who sailed with us on the cruise. They didn't always join us on our adventures, so I didn't get a lot of pictures of them, but I did get a bunch from Teresa who sent some out to all of us on WhatsApp. Many (most) of these pictures appear on other pages of this website in their proper place on the timeline, but not all of them. They're not in any particular order. | |

 After dinner on March 1st, our first day on the ship, Mei-O, Teresa and Steve, and Alay and Alfred headed up to the Aloha Cafe for some after-dinner snacks, mostly just fruit. Not wanting to eat any more, I didn't join them, just staying long enough to get a picture. |

 March 1st, at the Vive Hotel in Honolulu, where we all stayed the first night in Hawaii before boarding our ship later in the day. While Mei-O and I were eating, our Canadian friends, Maria, Grace, Alfred, and Alay joined us. We have traveled with Alay and Alfred before (to London, Portugal, and Spain in 2017), and visited them in Toronto twice (in 2015 and 2016), but this was the first time we met Maria and Grace. |
 March 4th, at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. There were two long paths from the parking lot leading off in opposite directions to overlooks of the Kīlauea Volcano. With only 30 minutes before we had to return to the bus, we would have to hurry if we wanted to experience both of them. (We'd have to take the trail to the first overlook (0:11), then return to the parking lot and take the trail in the opposite direction to get to the second overlook; the 30 minutes we were allotted was not long enough to really enjoy the amazing views.) |
 March 1st, all of us at dinner in the Liberty Dining Room on our first night on board the ship. We'd all meet up here around 5:30 every evening for dinner. |
 March 7th, Grace and Maria with their formal dinner entrees one evening. |
 March 1st, we had our first lunch in the Aloha Cafe (the buffet) while waiting for our rooms to be ready. By the time we were done, an announcement was made that we could proceed to our rooms, that they were ready now, so off we went. |
 March 5th, along the seawall in Kona before we headed out to explore the shopping district, just a short way down Ali'i Drive. |
 March 7th, Alay and Alfred in the Liberty Dining Room for our last formal dinner...with lobster! |
