![]() March 5th, purses at a store in Kona were two for $35, so Mei-O and Alay each got one, splitting the cost. |
![]() March 7th, our plans in Nawiliwili included swimming at Kalapaki Beach sometime during our shore visit, but we couldn't easily get there from the path we were on. So continuing down this road, we diverted to first see the Marriott Gardens. |
![]() March 8th, on the Grand Circle Island on our last day in Hawaii, we stopped for lunch at the Coral Kingdom Restaurant. When we were served our lunch (we all couldn't fit at one table), we were quite surprised! We each got half of a huli-huli chickennote chicken dish in Hawaiian cuisine, prepared by barbecuing a chicken over mesquite wood, and basting it with a sweet huli-huli sauce, typically consisting of soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, and a hint of sesame oil. It was really good. |

![]() March 6th, around 9:30, we all met up and hopped on a shuttle bus for a very short ride into Kona to do some exploring and shopping. |
![]() March 1st, in the Vive Hotel lobby in Honolulu, haggling over how to evenly divide the Lift and Uber charges from the trip to Diamond Head we just returned from. |
