![]() Breakfast with a view. We always tried to find a table near a window, but that wasn't always possible. |
![]() Some of the jagged rocks at Keanae Park on the Keanae Peninsula where we stopped during our Road to Hana shore excursion. |
![]() As we walked around the ship on Deck 6, I noticed something strange about the life boats that hung overhead on Deck 7. This one has a single three-bladed propeller, while this one has two four-bladed propellers, and this one has two five-bladed propellers. I think I'd prefer to be on the latter. |
![]() The Great Seal of the United States of America adorned the floor of Deck 5's mid-ship main Guest Services Desk atrium. From the atrium, the rather uninspiring Grand Staircase led up to Deck 6. |
![]() Upon entering the Aloha Cafe, we were greeted by a staff member armed with hand sanitizer. Though we always took a squirt, it apparently wasn't mandatory as many people went in without taking advantage of it. |

![]() This was being served in the Aloha Cafe for dinner one night. We often came up here after having our formal dinner in the Liberty Dining Room, sometimes to eat another round if the formal dinner menu wasn't very good, or sometimes for just fruit or dessert. I didn't have any of this. |
![]() A life-saving ring. Many of these were located on the railings all around the ship. |

![]() I've already shown a picture of my Caesar salad with anchovies, the salad I had many nights at our formal dinner. But after a while, I realized so much salt wasn't good for me (anchovies are notoriously very salty) and I had better stop asking for them (they weren't standard on the Caesar salad. You had to request them), so for the last few days, I ate just a plain old Caesar salad (which was still very good). |
![]() Feeding the koi in the Marriott Gardens' pond was a fun activity for kids. (That's Mei-O behind them, fishing uneaten pellets out of the pond to toss out to the fish.) |
![]() I spent a lot of time staring out at the sea searching for porpoises and whales, always with no luck. |
