My daily entry from my "A Year In Photos" website, updated every day when I'm around. Today's picture may not get updated until later in the evening. And there may be an alternate picture which you may need to scroll down to see. Click on the picture to see it full-size.

Sunday, July 3 - We went to the Mall of America today, the first time in probably 2½ years, and found this great butterfly mobile hanging down through all four stories in the south food court. From the first floor, you could pull a cord to make its wings flap. We spent about 3½ hours walking around there, taking a few selfies (Mei-O loves selfies); this one in the rainbow tunnel at the M&M store (yes, there's a whole store that just sells M&Ms. This is just one of the walls!), this one, seeing that tomorrow is the 4th of July, and this one. 3½ hours was tiring for me with my walker, but it was easily doable and was a good bit of exercise for us both.

Friday, July 1 - We took a late afternoon two-mile walk at Quarry Hill Park today, starting and ending at the 9th St. parking lot instead of the Nature Center where we usually begin our walks. It was a beautiful day in the low 80s (around 28° C) as we walked around the lake and out onto the island, even taking a little side trip out to the small stream by the railroad tracks.
