My daily entry from my "A Year In Photos" websitenote, updated every day when I'm around. Each day's picture usually does not get updated until later in the evening, though it may be updated at anytime during the day. And there may be an alternate picture which you may need to scroll down to see.

Tuesday, November 22 - Today we had what we call sanchos for lunch (and dinner!) It's kind of Mexican-style, the main ingredients being lettuce and tomatoes, ground turkey (healthier than beef) with onions, black beans, and chili powder in it, all cooked up together, and shredded cheese (today we used a "Mexican Style" mix from Aldi's), all piled up and rolled up at the table on a steamed flour tortilla. (These 20¢ tortillas are amazingly stretchy. You can wrap a lot of stuff in them and they just don't break.) Yummm! Another one of Mei-O's great meals!

Monday, September 26 - Yesterday, I noticed my Z4 was just about to turn 40,000 miles. Driving it today, it had totally slipped my mind, but as we exited Highway 14 coming home from Steve and Teresa's house, I just happened to glance down at it and, much to my surprise, it was right at 40,000! So, of course, I pulled off onto the shoulder to take this picture to document this significant event in the life of my Z4. I bought the car on November 17, 2016, with 30,668 miles on it. It took almost six years to get to 40,000. (Remember, in Minnesota, there's a somewhat limited sports car driving season.)
