At the Larnach Castle in Dunedin.

Police on the street in downtown Wellington.

This Wellington overpass, the "City to Sea Bridge", is a pedestrian bridge and public artwork. It looks broken, but it's not. Here's a picture taken from the internetCredit: jovannig of what it looks like from the other side. We actually walked over the overpass and saw it, but first, there were too many people hanging around it (a tour group trying to organize a photo op in front of it), and second, we were in a hurry.

A Rugby World Cup sculpture on the Jack Ilott Green in Civic Square in Wellington. It was created by the Wētā Workshop which we'd visit later in the day on our "From Cave to Coast Wellington Highlights Tour".

122 years now.

I took this picture of this motorcyclist in Wellington to show to a friend who rides a BMW motorcycle. That's a beautiful bike.

New Zealand has some pretty tough laws to protect their environment. We were warned about them every day over the ship's PA system before the gangway was opened for debarkation every day. We figured this is why no fruit that you could easily carry off the ship in a purse or backpack (apples, oranges, pears, etc.) were never offered on the buffet lines. The same applied for Australia.

The liquor is kept locked behind bars in the galley.

What dishes are supposed to look like when brought out to the table. Whether the food at our formal dinners was good or bad, the presentation was always nice.

Ship maintenance being performed on the life boats, taken from our balcony.
